You have faced the interview board with extraordinary and to-the-point answers.  You appeared before the board in your best dress with the crimson tie and your favourite navy blue blazer on. The gleam on your shoes was sparkling. The members you faced were content with your marks. You were sure to crack the job. But something went wrong. Nothing happened. You had to go off the deep end which you never imagined.  Your personality did not click. You have to go deep into your image management. It can be that your personality could not convince the interview board.

You have to smarten up and refurbish your personality. This is where a profound insight into image management comes into play. Both these traits, personality and image management are key individualities in today’s world.  Society must acknowledge your enhanced image and should respond to you with due respect. Positive impressions and impactful images are indispensable for personality and image management enhancement.

The main crux of personality and image management is how you view yourself and how others perceive you. You have to make yourself more accessible to others. People of various temperaments should feel you are in tandem with them and on the same wavelength. Persons who feel that they have to climb the social or the corporate ladder go for personality and image management. Mind you this is not hard selling yourself. The exercise is sharing your vision with fellow men and convincing them of your ideas. Plain and simple. !! Focus your mind so that your new personality and image make a huge impact in your community. Only then the true results of image management will come to the fore.

  • Reachability factor — You should be accessible to all sorts of people within your community. The community may be the academic community, the corporate or the friends, relatives and immediate peer groups. A down-to-earth personality within easy reach of all is most liked and adored. He becomes the most successful of all.
  • Enhancing trustworthiness and sway over the community — Trustworthiness is preeminent and primary in image management techniques. People like you more if they can trust you. You can have easy sway on them. Commitment and credibility pay you in the long run. You can achieve your mission and reach your vision with greater ease if people like you. Remember for personality development a complete positive perception as an individual is paramount.
  • Be clear about your personality perception — The main objectives that should stretch out in front of you for personality and image management are a clear SWOT analysis of yourself. Where you are now, what you deserve, where you want to reach and how. You must be clear and concise about what makes you unique and stand out among the crowd.
  • Reputation building in image management — Clarity and consistency in thinking patterns make an impact on personality and image management. This will lead and have a positive impact on your credibility. Your visibility status will grow up with your trustworthiness.
  • Benefactor quotient — The image management also lies in the number of people who have been your benefactors at any point in time. You should be a thought leader,  committed to your cause. A real game changer is the one who wins the game always.
  • Understanding your value and passion — You should be crystal clear on your personality traits and try to create positive content for your community on your values and passions.
  • Take risks and accomplish the jobs – People adore heroes for their personality and accomplishments. Take risks in your work and try your best to achieve them. You can achieve almost if not all. Feel proud of how people react to your personality. You will enjoy the glow in their eyes.
  • Use positive imagery — Positive attitude and self-talk aretwo basicrequirements of personality development and image management. A person with positive traits and an affirmative thinking process will climb the success ladder faster and sooner.

And remember —- the first impression is always the lasting impression. Be proactive always.
