Let’s begin with a tiny story today. One day, a teenage boy goes to buy some schoolbooks at a nearby store. As the shopkeeper goes into another room to find his books, he casually lifts a copy from the bookshelf on the left and starts flipping the pages. He reads the first few lines in an indifferent mood, when suddenly the story strikes him hard with an urge to know what happens next. He reads further and finally ends up not only buying the book but also the sequels. That’s what reading does: it opens up new worlds full of excitement and suspense where even the deeper truths are told in the simplest manner. In today’s internet craving, web-series watching world, books have been sidelined by the youth pathetically.
